A few thoughts from visiting Three Lakes Ward today...
----Pride is the parent of all sins.
----People try to convince others that we have a royal flush when in reality, we're afraid that what we are really holding is just a pair.
----Instead of being prideful, or "proud" of our kiddos, we should focus on being grateful of them...of feeling blessed for them...
----I listened to Anna whispering with her Grandpa Law. He was helping her spell 'Jesus'. And I thought...that is so sweet...and he sure loves her.
----Anna's first sustaining as an official member of our church was sustaining her daddy in his new calling. I thought that was cool.
----I went in while Dustin was being set apart. During his blessing, my right eye was tearing up...I was thinking, well, at least Jeanne's here, she's bound to cry more than me.
I was right. :D
----Went in for Anna's talk in Primary. They sang the 'Hello' song to welcome her grandparents. The chorister reminded the children that she didn't want to hear one JELLO. I didn't get it. Apparently, they love to sing 'jello' instead of 'hello'. LOL...never heard of that one before. You?
----In Relief Society, the practice song was 'Families Can Be Together'. I was commenting to Tamra before the song that there were many years there where I couldn't sing that song. Just too much pain with that song. But that now I can.
Whoops. Too soon.
I was sitting next to my sister. And I want our family together. So the tears were coming. Couldn't sing it. Sigh.

I always tear up during that song too. I used to have to leave the chapel when they started singing. Now I sing it to Leanna. I still tear up and cry, but a little bit more happier now :-)
What is Dustin's new calling?
Sometimes tears are good... thank you for sharing this experience, it was almost like being there.
Hope you gave/give Tamra lots of hugs~
:) We were so glad to have you there. THANK YOU!!!
