Years ago, when I was primary chorister, I was supposed to teach the kiddos this beautiful new song called, "I'm Trying to Be Like Jesus".
At this time, they didn't want us using pictures or things like that to teach the songs...and so for this song, I had little Brittany and little Gavin (they were 5-ish) come up for the line: I'm trying to love my neighbor...
And every time I hear this song, I think of those two little people, with their arms around each other.
I love the song anyway, just a beautiful song...but I love the memory that it brings...
