Two Good Things...

A great highlight from last week was from when I met my newest little great-nephew.

He is gorgeous.

Seriously.

I know my dad says that all babies are beautiful...but...well...some are just more beautiful than others.

If-ya-know-what-I'm-sayin'...

So.  I'm sitting there and watching my nieces' children do their little kids lives and it's making me smile.

And then, I get to hold the baby.

Bliss and contentment.  I know...dark picture, but, I had a sweet baby on my lap, didn't much care about the picture...

Then, Miss Chloe decided to come out.  And she saw the book...and she started reading.  And she was sitting RIGHTNEXT to me.  Like, her little thigh was pushed into my thigh.  And here's this little girl reading me one of my favorite kid books (Barnyard Dance...) and it was just her and me.

I was in Aunt Connie heaven.

Holding the little man.  Watching three others moving around.  And listening to my great-niece read a story to me.

Yup.  That's heaven.

Though...heaven for Meaghan is probably when she's all healed up and when everyone is down for naps at the same time?
